Abler's AbGard Omeprazole is for the treatment and prevention of equine gastric ulcers in an easy-to-use oral syringe of flavourless paste. Omeprazole is from the family of proton pump inhibitors (PPI's) that blocks secretion of acid and assists by reducing and neutralizing acid in the horse's stomach allowing improved healing of existing ulcer damage.

1 box comprises 6 x 6.15gram syringes.

For a treatment regime: Recommended dosage is 4.0 mg/kg (1.8 mg/lb) of horses bodyweight per day. Use one (1) full syringe once daily for 28 consecutive days.

For a prevention regime: Recommended dosage is 2.0 mg/kg (0.9 mg/lb) of horses bodyweight per day. Use one half (1/2) syringe once daily ongoing as required.
